RSV Registry Respiratory Syncytial (sin-SISH-shul) Virus, or RSV, is a common respiratory virus that affects many people in Hawai'i. However, for children who are born prematurely at 32 weeks or less, or are born with chronic lung or heart disease, RSV can become very serious and may result in long term hospitalization or life-threatening complications. To prevent RSV, those children who are at risk, are encouraged to seek preventive treatment. The Hilopa'a F2FHIC can help. If your child meets any of the risk factors identified above, complete the following registration form and we will contact you directly to inform you of your treatment options and keep you up to date on what's happening in our community. This is completely voluntary on our part. It is our way of keeping you informed. Your information is confidential and will only be used to contact you regarding your treatment options and guidelines which can change from year to year. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us directly. | | |
